The Petroleum (Marking and Quality Control) (Amendment)
Regulations, 2012
(Under section 6(2) (a) and section 44 of the Petroleum Supply Act, 2003,
Act No. 13 of2003)
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister by sections 6 and 44 of the Petroleum Supply Act, 2003, these Regulations are made this 25th day of September, 2012.
- Title.
These Regulations may be cited as the Petroleum (Marking and Quality Control) (Amendment) Regulations, 2012.
- Commencement.
These Regulations shall come into force on the 1st day of October, 2012.
- Amendment of regulation 9.
The Petroleum (Marking and Quality Control) Regulations, 2009, S.I. No. 56 of 2009, in these Regulations referred to as the principal Regulations are amended in regulation 9 (1) as follows—
- by substituting for the word “inspector", the word “officer"; and
- by repealing paragraph (a).
- Amendment of regulation 10.
Regulation 10 of the principal Regulations is amended in subregulation (1) (c) by inserting the words “from the date of marking" immediately after the word “days".
- Amendment of regulation 11.
Regulation 11 of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the word “five" the word “ten".
