STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS 2007 No. 2.

The Land Acquisition (Soroti - Dokolo, Dokolo - Lira Road) Instruments, 2007.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister by subsection (1) of Section 2 of the Land Auquisition Act Cap. 226, this Order is hereby made this 29th day of December 2006.

1. The final alignment of land set out below in Schedule “A” (as Strip Maps, Annex 2a and Annex 2b) and Schedule “B” (as book of Drawings, Volume 7) of the road area called (Soroti - Dokolo, Dokolo - Lira) is hereby declared to be land required by the Government for a Public Purpose, being construction of a bitumized road.
2. Plans of the said land on which the road is to be constructed may be inspected at the office of the Commissioner of Lands and Surveys, Entebbe during office hours.
3. This Order may be cited as the Land Acquisition Soroti - Dokolo, Dokolo - Lira Road Order, 2006.
