The Access to Information (Commencement) Instrument, 2006.
(Under section 1(2) of the Access to Information Act, 2005, Act No. 6 of 2005)
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Minister by section 1(2) of the Access to Information Act, 2005, this Instrument is made this 1st day of March,
2006.
1. Title
This Instrument may be cited as the Access to Information (Commencement) Instrument, 2006.
2. Appointment of commencement date for Act No. 6 of 2005.
The 20th day of April, 2006, is appointed as the date on which all provisions of the Access to Information Act, 2005 shall come into force.
