The East African Community Act (Commencement) Instrument, 2005.

(Under section 1 of the East African Community Act, 2002 Act 13 of 2002)

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister responsible for regional cooperation by section 1 of the East African Community Act, 2002, this Instrument is made this 25th day of February, 2005.

1.           Title

This Instrument may be cited as the East African Community Act (Commencement) Instrument, 2005.

2.           Commencement of Act No. 13 of 2002

The East African Community Act, 2002 shall be deemed to have come into force on 15th January, 2005.
