The External Trade (Importation Licence) (No. 2) Order, 2002.


(Made under section 5A of the External Trade Act, Cap. 103)

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister by section 5A of the External Trade Act, this Order is made this 15th day of January, 2002.

1.          Citation

This Order may be cited as the External Trade (Importation Licence) (No. 2) Order, 2002.

2.          Grant of exclusive licence.

(1) The person listed in column 1 of the Schedule are granted exclusive licence to import used tyres of different sizes in the quantity listed in column 2 of the Schedule.

(2) The exclusive licence referred to in sub-paragraph (1) shall be valid for the one year only and if the licence expires before a person has imported the number of used tyres authorised by the licence, that person shall forfeit the balance of the tyres not imported.
