2002                    No. 18. The Electricity Act (Commencement of sections 62 and 120) Instrument, 2002.

(Under section 2 of the Electricity Act, 1999, Act No. 6 of 1999).

In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister by section 2 of the Electricity Act, 1999, this Instrument is made this 28th day of March, 2002.

1.          Citation.

This Instrument may be cited as the Electricity Act (Commencement of sections 62 and 120) Instrument, 2002.

2.          Commencement of sections 62 and 120.

The 5th day of April, 2002 is appointed the day on which sections 62 and 120 of the Electricity Act, 1999 shall come into force.
