CHAPTER 221

THE MINIMUM WAGES ADVISORY BOARDS AND WAGES

COUNCILS ACT.

Commencement: 17 October, 1957.

An Act to provide for the establishment of minimum wages advisory
boards and wages councils, and for the regulation of the remuneration
and conditions of employment of employees.

Application.

This Act shall not apply to members of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces, members of any police force established by the Constitution or Act of Parliament, public officers or persons otherwise employed by the Government.
