THE SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ACT, 2008.

An Act to make supplementary appropriation out of the Consolidated Fund under section 16 of the Public Finance and Accountability Act, 2003, of a sum of two hundred twenty six billion, seven hundred fifty five million, six hundred sixty five thousand shillings only to meet additional expenditures for the first, second, third and fourth quarters of the financial year 2007/2008.

Date of Assent: 4th October, 2008 Date of Commencement: 17th October, 2008.

Be it enacted by Parliament as follows:

1. Supplementary appropriation.

The supplementary appropriation out of the Consolidated Fund in respect of the first, second, third and fourth quarters of the financial year 2007/2008, for the purposes specified in column 1 of the schedule to this Act, of the sums respectively specified in column 2 of that schedule, is hereby allowed and confirmed.
